Before You Book
What do I need to provide as a host venue?
For the play: a stage with lighting, sound, projector and screen, wireless microphones, a stage hand, and a tech crew. We bring all props and production materials. For a film screening: a projector or large screen, an audio system, and someone to operate the interactive choice links during the screening.
How far in advance should I book?
For the live play, we recommend reaching out as early as possible so we can coordinate cast availability and travel logistics. For film screenings, we can typically arrange everything within a few weeks.
Is the content appropriate for young audiences?
The play and film include depictions of active substance use and overdose. Most suitable for audiences ages 13 and older.
Can I use grant funding to cover the hosting fee?
Yes. Many of our hosts use substance use prevention grants, community health grants, arts education funding, or other sources to cover the cost. We are happy to work with whatever funding or payment method your organization needs.
What happens during the "choice moment"?
At a pivotal moment in the story, the performance pauses and the audience votes on which direction the story goes using a QR code on their phones. The story then continues down the path the audience chose.
